Our first step is discussions and briefing with the
client concerning the company's mission, values and
strategy. This leads to focusing on the finer points
of the job definition, the required capabilities of
the candidates and the working environment of the client.
Together we will identify the critical success factors
linked to the role.

During the second phase we develop the job specification
for the client, analyse the market and review the client's
competitive environment.

Once the profile has been agreed, Hansar creates a search
strategy based on our market analysis, followed by systematically
mapping out this market in all countries relevant to
the search. In parallel we consider other avenues of
research which will lead to the success of the assignment,
such as our database, our sources, our contacts and
years of knowledge that we have built up in the sector.

The next phase involves identifying potential candidates.

We then approach the candidates in order to qualify
their capability and fit for the organisation. This
is followed by face to face meetings with selected candidates
and presenting reports to the client on those best suited
to the opportunity. The evaluation will focus on the
critical success factors.

According to the level of confidentiality required,
reference checking will begin as early as possible without
compromising the candidate.

At this point, we arrange meetings between the client
and the candidates, ensuring that the client is briefed
on each individual and that all parties concerned are
fully prepared. The series of client - candidate meetings
can be long and protracted and it is our duty to move
them along with as much speed and efficiency as possible.
Hansar keeps the candidates constantly informed of the
state of progress.

Another key role is for us to facilitate the negotiations
of the candidate offer, being equally sensitive to the
needs of the candidate and the requirements of the client
and helping find the balance which is acceptable to
both.

Finally, it is our responsibility to keep in touch with
the candidate and to assist in the integration, helping
to optimise the on-boarding for maximum success. A results
analysis at a later stage will help to refine the process
for the future.
