Change and transition can either be seen as an opportunity to develop and broaden horizons or as destabilising and distressing. Coaching provides a structured and supportive framework to effectively manage this process.

We design programmes that meet individual needs and specific requirements.   This enables a focussed approach which is tailored to meet agreed budgets.   We will give the tools and building blocks to be able to take ownership of a long-term job strategy.   We both push and encourage a person to move out of their comfort zone.

We should explain that we cannot find or guarantee a job for anyone.   What we can do is to help deepen an individuals knowledge of existing resources and assist in the expansion of some basic skills in order to be able to make life style choices and to manage job searches.   Above all, for the duration of the contract there will be a safety net.   Some people need considerable and detailed input throughout the process.   Others only need gentle guidance and encouragement.

How long does this take?   An ideal situation for individual career transition coaching consists of approximately 4 to 6 one-to-one meetings by phone or face to face, with telephone and e-mail follow up and support, depending on the needs of the individual.
